DESCRIPTION
The Tralyx Guard draws upon the lightness and comfort of original Tralyx to create a perfect solution to secure the eyes of workers. The wide shield lens has been reshaped with a specific geometry to maximize the protection of the eye area offering deeper coverage as compared to the traditional lens shape.
P.P.E CERTIFIED CATEGORY 2
All Rudy Project protective glasses are PPE certified in compliance with the EN 166:2001 Standard on eye protection. Tralyx Guard and Intron are both category 2 PPE. The PPE eyewear meets also the ANZI Z87+ standards passing the high mass impact and high velocity impact tests ensuring further protection. PPE Cat. 2 eyewear is designed to be worn or held by an individual for protection against one or more health and safety hazards. Each eye protection equipment (PPE) used for work-related purposes must at least be classified as category 2 in compliance with the Standard UNI EN 166:2001. Therefore, for this kind of glasses, third-part testing is mandatory.
SHIELD PROTECTIVE LENSES
All the PPE eyewear feature specific lens geometry to maximize the protection of the eyes area. The PPE eyewear lenses are more deep and wraparound compared to the traditional lens shapes. The transparent polycarbonate lenses benefit from the RP Optics qualities such as sharp vision and high resistance.
COMFORT AND STABILITY
Drawing from the Rudy Project performance features, our PPE frames feature soft rubber adjustable temple tips and nosepads to offer maximum comfort, stability and adjustability.
