Rudy Project is thrilled to welcome one of triathlon’s rising stars, Gregory Barnaby, to its global roster of elite athletes. The Italian triathlete will now train and compete using Rudy Project’s world-class helmets and eyewear throughout the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The partnership officially kicks off this weekend at the T100 Triathlon World Tour event in Singapore, where Barnaby will line up against the sport’s biggest names—including Marten Van Riel, Hayden Wilde, and Youri Keulen.
Fresh off a career-defining 2024 season that included a landmark victory in the inaugural Ironman Pro Series, Barnaby brings serious momentum and ambition into this collaboration. His standout results last year also include a podium at the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt (3rd), a historic 6th place at the Ironman World Championship in Kona—the best-ever finish for an Italian athlete—and a win at Ironman 70.3 Western Australia.
Known for his laser focus and technical approach to racing, Barnaby is meticulous about his gear—and that’s exactly why he’s chosen Rudy Project.
"Rudy Project stands for innovation and performance at the highest level," Barnaby said. "But what impressed me most is their hands-on, athlete-first attitude. It feels like joining a family that’s fully invested in helping you reach your best."
For race day, Barnaby will wear Rudy Project’s Wingdream helmet—engineered for maximum aerodynamic efficiency and used by elite athletes across triathlon, road cycling, and even speed skating. Developed over two years in collaboration with Team Bahrain Victorious and validated in Swiss Side’s wind tunnel, the Wingdream delivers unmatched airflow, performance, and safety.
He’ll also sport Rudy Project’s Astral Sphere and Turbolence sunglasses during the run—both models equipped with cutting-edge spherical lens technology for wide, distortion-free vision and superb ventilation.
For training, Barnaby relies on the Nytron helmet—a perfect balance of aerodynamics and cooling—and the high-performance Kelion sunglasses, ideal for long, demanding bike sessions.
Simone Barbazza, Rudy Project’s Marketing Director, says Barnaby is a perfect fit for the brand’s performance ethos.
"Gregory represents everything Rudy Project stands for: relentless pursuit of excellence, attention to detail, and an uncompromising drive to improve," Barbazza said. "We’re proud to support him with the most advanced gear for every discipline."
This new partnership adds to Rudy Project’s growing presence at the elite level of endurance sports. In addition to Barnaby, the brand supports a strong lineup of international triathletes, including Kieran Lindars, Justus Nieschlag, Bradley Weiss, Nikki Bartlett, and more. It also maintains long-term collaborations with the Italian Cycling Federation, WorldTour team Bahrain Victorious, and winter sports champions like Johannes Klæbo and Federico Pellegrino.
Stay tuned as Gregory Barnaby kicks off a new chapter with Rudy Project—starting this Sunday in Singapore.
